"We are a small but dynamic congregation faithfully serving the twin towns and district of Murrumburrah-Harden in the northern Riverina of NSW.
Most worship services are held in the beautiful Ross Memorial Church. Monthly services are also held at Galong and at Harden Grange (residential aged care facility). Although we have no resident minister, there is a dedicated worship team who prepare and lead weekly services. Our lay presider conducts Holy Communion and officiates for the occasional baptism or funerals.
The Ross Memorial Church has a beautiful historic and fully functional pipe organ which is used regularly for services. It is also the custodian of a concert grand piano used by professional artists in a recital series.
The ecumenical Youth Ministry Group supports folk from our church and others who take SRE (scripture) at the local primary school, with particular emphasis on K-2 students.
Our KYB4M group meets weekly in the church hall as a study group and enjoys lunch together at a local café where fellowship continues.
We join with other local churches for a number of significant events during the year including a Good Friday Walk, World Day of Prayer and Community Carols.
Congregation members support a local missionary team in Romania, Frontier Services, Samaritan’s Purse, Royal Flying Doctor Service and more.
We are keen to continue and further outreach to the local community. All are welcome at our church."
